If you’ve read my blog before, you know I’m not a fan of giving “one size fits all” solutions; they rarely work anyhow.
With that said, we’ve been able to go from zero leads to a full pipeline week after week over here in our corner of the world, so I thought I’d write a blog post on how the tools we’re using to reach those numbers.
The Digital Marketing Tool List
There’s a tool for every task.
That quote is more apropos to digital marketing than gardening! There are SO many tools out there for digital marketing, one for every minor inconvenience or major problem you run into.
Here’s the full list of tools we used to fill our pipeline, categorized by the stage of the sales funnel.

- Google Ads Manager
Facebook Ads Manager
We start at the top of the funnel with our primary way of generating traffic – Facebook Ads.
As a digital marketing agency, we run ads for many types of companies, and I have yet to see a company who’s customer base is NOT found on Facebook.
I also run a real-estate company marketing to mobile home park owners – even they are on Facebook.
Not only that, Facebook’s pixel is one of the most effective pieces of technology you can employ in your marketing arsenal as it allows you to run re-marketing ads, create custom audiences and run look-alike ads to those audiences.
If you haven’t yet used re-marketing ads or run lookalike campaigns, you are missing out. The ROI on those two types of ads far exceeds the ROI on any other ad you’ll run online.
Google Ads Manager
Next in line after Facebook Ads is good ol’ trusty Google Search ads.
Google Search is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
Why? Because when you run a search ad, you’re getting your ad placed in front of your potential customer exactly when they’re searching for a solution to their problem!
Yup, your potential customer is going on Google to search for your service right as we speak, and with Google Ads you can put your company’s name in front of them in the moment they’re searching for your service!
There is nothing that beats that.
Outside of the basic PPC Search ads, you can also run re-marketing ads with Google. Personally, I think display ads work the best for re-marketing.
And again, your ROI will be fantastic.
Once we start generating traffic with Facebook and Google ads, we need somewhere to send that traffic and convey our message.
For that, we use Kartra.
Kartra is touted as an “all-in-one marketing platform”.
And for once I think the all-in-one moniker works.
With Kartra, you can build sales funnels, websites, membership sites, run email campaigns, and pretty much anything else you could possibly want to do online.
If there is ONE tool you get in this list, get Kartra.
ClickCease is actually a new addition to our digital marketing arsenal.
But damn, I wish I had it a long, long time ago.
What ClickCease will do is identify “click fraud” within your Google Ads campaigns. Saving you a suprisingly large amount of money day in and day out.
For instance, just yesterday we saved $16.8 in a single campaign using ClickCease!
Why is there so much click fraud out there!
Next on the list is SlyBroadcast.
Before I jump into explaining this one, realize that it may not be your cup of tea.
And that’s OK! You don’t need to use the tool if you don’t want to.
SlyBroadcast is a Ringless Voicemail app. We use it for our real-estate business to leave a voicemail on peoples phones who are NOT on the Do Not Call list.
…that is very important, make sure they are NOT on the Do Not Call list!
SlyBroadcast works very well because it allows you to reach a lot of people very quickly, without having to jump on the phone to do it.
This one isn’t necessarily a tool, per say. It’s more of a platform.
And I’m sure you already are very familiar with it anyhow.
If you haven’t heard of Fiverr living under your rock there, let me explain.
Fiverr is basically where you go to hire cheap labor overseas. And it works very well.
If you need someone to do a specific task that does not require high-level skills and constant communication, then Fiverr is your jam.
There are plenty of VA’s out there that can save you time and money.
The last app on our list is Restream.io.
Restream.io is THE app you need when it comes to organic marketing online with video.
With restream.io, you can do a single live video broadcast and stream that broadcast to all of the platforms you use.
Saves a TON of time.
What I’ll do is do a live video on restream.io and then stream that to my YouTube account, all of my Facebook pages, and my LinkedIn account.
Across those three platforms, I get much, much more traffic than any single one.
